Philips Lighting has launched a chatbot on their Facebook page in Singapore, allowing users to buy the brand’s suite of consumer products conversationally through Facebook’s messenger platform.
The chatbot can be found by looking up “Philips Lighting Singapore” on Facebook in the Messenger contact search.
By interacting with the chatbot online, shoppers can get round-the-clock assistance in making their lighting purchase decisions. The chatbot responds with product recommendations based on the user’s inputs and they can also make their purchases directly on the platform itself.
Following that, they can collect the items from the Philips Light Lab or have them delivered to their desired location.
This is one of Philips Lighting’s initiatives for its LEDs Get Smart campaign, aimed at educating consumers on the benefits of installing the right lights at home, in hopes to capture the local e-commerce market and tap into the growing segment.
